PSAT Sophomores & Juniors Register by October 1st
Auburn High School – PSAT/NMSQT
September 25, 2015
Dear Parent:
It is the time of year for the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The PSAT, as it is commonly known, is designed for college bound juniors. This year, we are requiring all Renaissance Gifted Academy Sophomores and Juniors to participate in this testing. The primary purpose of the PSAT is to prepare students for the SAT in the spring. Although juniors in Illinois typically take the ACT, the PSAT is still good preparation and it is the only way students can enter the National Merit scholarship process.
